In one of the best locations in the park, between two lakes and in a wildlife rich area, this is one of the best all round options in the Selous. This is luxurious but not over the top, excellent but not pretentious, consistently delivering top marks for feedback across the board. The lounge, dining area and bar are located on the top floor of a large thatched building, adorned with colonial period furniture with lovely views of the river and surrounding bush. The bar and fireplace are on a raised deck in the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink and just around the corner you will find a delightful little swimming pool.
The 8 luxury en-suite tents are spread out over a large area, so they are very private, and all overlook the river, there is always something to see here and wildlife often walks through the camp, even elephants! Each of the tents are located on a raised wooden deck with a veranda and chairs so you can enjoy the wildlife even when not out on a game drive. Flushing toilettes, a dressing room, running water, a fan, shower and 24-hour electricity finish off the very comfortable rooms to ensure you are very comfortable here. With superb guides, this is an easy all-round favourite of ours and we have yet to hear a bad, or even slightly negative comment about the camp.
