Located in Oyster Bay, an upmarket area of Dar es Salaam, is the Double Tree by Hilton. Just a stones throw from the slipway arts and craft centre and close to a variety of restaurants and shops the location is great. In reality we would recommend the hotel for a stop after or before international flights and most guests stay within the hotel, but the option is there for those that want to go out and explore. The hotel has a good range of facilities including an oceanfront location, swimming pool, jetty and three on-site restaurants.

The rooms are as you would expect from a large branded hotel with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and some of the rooms have lovely sea views. If you need to stay in Dar es Salaam there are a lot worse places that you could choose.
