Kwihala is in intimate camp where simple excellence is the order of the day. This is a long-established camp with a reputation for some of the best safari guides in Tanzania and a premium experience. The camp is relatively small with one main mess tent where you will find a comfortable lounge, small but well stocked bar and dining area although, meals are often served under the stars. Lanterns light the way and give a real sense of remote wilderness and times of a bygone era and with only six en-suite tented suites there is a lovely feel to the camp.

Each of the large tents have a private bathroom with flush toilettes, gravity showers on request and a veranda to enjoy the wildlife and scenery when not out on a game drive, there is no better place to have your morning cuppa brought to you first thing in the morning. This is a firm favourite in the team here, guiding excellence, such lovely staff and a small intimate feel, we love it!
