This beautiful lodge is perched high on the rim of the great rift valley overlooking Lake Manyara below. Views are incredible from pretty much anywhere around the lodge, including the rooms, but especially from the lounge and infinity pool deck areas. The main lodge also houses a lounge bar and restaurant and food here is particularly good. There are plenty of things to do from the lodge including the obvious game drives into the park but also guided walking, massage treatments, cultural tours and bush dinners to name a few.
With just 16 luxurious and private chalets, all with private decking to enjoy the stunning views, this isn’t a big hotel and won’t feel like one. With floor to ceiling windows in each of the large rooms as well as oversized beds, leather sofas and an en-suite bathroom with deep soak bathtub you are sure to feel pampered. There are so many strong points to the accommodation and we really like it, we do wonder if the price might be a little high but having said that is a small hotel, pushing five star, in a cracking spot and won’t disappoint.
