Day 1
Fly overnight to Kilimanjaro airport, there is a lot of choice with airlines so do let us know if you have a preference.

Day 2
You will be met on arrival and taken, by private vehicle and driver, straight to your hotel which is located around one hour from the airport. You can relax after your flights for the rest of the day, ready for the adventure to begin tomorrow.

Day 3
This morning you will meet your private safari and set off for the Ngorongoro Highlands via a game drive in the stunningly scenic Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 4
An early start this morning will ensure you are one of the first onto the crater floor – today you have a good chance of seeing the Big 5 all on one game drive, and the best chance of seeing black rhino. Head back to your lodge this afternoon for some relaxation in the beautiful highlands.

Day 5
This morning you will make your way to the Serengeti (driving or taking a light aircraft transfer depending on the time of year).

Day 6
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in pursuit of the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife – big cats and epic numbers of plains game, all with panoramic scenery.

Day 7
Your final day on safari, let your driver know if there is anything that you have not seen and this will be top priority today. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the vast plains, rocky outcrops and fantastic wildlife, some of the best in Africa!

Day 8
You will game drive to one of the airstrips in the Serengeti this morning for your light aircraft flight to Zanzibar. This flight stops a number of times on the way and you will arrive early afternoon where a private vehicle and driver will be waiting to wisk you to your hotel. Settle and relax for the rest of day after your safari adventure.

Day 9
You have a full day at leisure, perhaps have a restful day today.

Day 10
There are many sea-based activities on offer in Zanzibar from wind-surfing, kite boarding and snorkelling to diving and sailing, if water sports are your thing do let us know and we make suggestions for you or, do nothing, the choice is yours!

Day 11
Land based activities in Zanzibar are also plentiful, in the team here we love visiting Stone Town with winding streets, lively markets and a fascinting history and culture there really is something for everyone and worth spending a day here.

Day 12
Your last full day on Zanzibar, we can recommend a spice farm tour and visit to Jozani forest, both are a real highlight of Zanzibar but there are plenty of other activities to choose from if you wish.

Depending on your flight times you may have some more time at leisure before your flights back to the UK.
