Perfectly simple and simply perfect, Lake Manze tented camp is in an enviable location on the banks of, fairly obviously, Lake Manze. As the sun goes down over the tall borassus palms the lake turns a stunning red, take a seat by the camp fire and enjoy a drink, few experiences can be so rewarding as a sunset here. The camp common area is a large, thatched roof, building with a sandy floor, which has a lovely lounge area, bar and dining area (although meals are often served under the stars by lantern).
The twelve en-suite tented rooms have everything that you need including full size double beds, flush toilette, private outdoor shower and private veranda. Lighting is provided by oil lantern as there is no electricity in the tents but there is a charging station for electrical devices at the bar. There is always some wildlife around the camp with elephant being regular visitors heading toward the lake and river. Laid back, charming, super value for money and adventurous, this camp is perfect for a first-time safari as well as aficionado’s. While we love a bit of luxury every now and then, we can’t get enough of the location and adventure of Manze, a firm favourite in the team.
