A recent addition to Nyere’s accommodation options, this is a very special upmarket camp in the heart of this vast wilderness. Set on a hill, overlooking the river, the camp is in a prime wildlife area where there is always something to see whether that is in your safari vehicle, boat, on foot or in and around the camp. The main mess tents consist of a bar and lounge area with a separate dining tent serving the most delicious food, you will wonder how this is all possible in the middle of nowhere! There is also a modest but delightful swimming pool for cooling off after your safari adventures.

Each of the eight en-suite canvas safari tents, set far apart to maximise privacy, are stylish and spacious – measuring 60m2 inside. Each has an ingenious air-cooling system over the bed to ensure a peaceful night sleep as well as a flush toilette, indoor and outdoor shower and a shady veranda to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The camp could well have found the perfect compromise between adventure and comfort and being in a great location is well worth considering, we really like it and have no hesitation in highly recommending.
