Forget everything that you think you know about what a tent or a tented camp might be, this is not a camping trip in the lakes, this is luxury, absolute luxury. The camp moves twice a year to follow the movements of the migration so whatever time of year you travel you are sure to be close to the action. Staff here are excellent, their knowledge and passion are infectious, and they will do whatever they can to make your stay special, and special it will be. The main mess tent houses a lovely lounge, bar, pleasant dining area and just outside is the camp fire, the perfect pre-dinner area for a drink and snack.

The 9 tents/rooms are enormous and very comfortable, you won’t want to leave! Each tent comes with an en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet and a clever gravity shower as well as an enclosed veranda or day bed area. This is definitely a firm favourite with us and never fails to disappoint, we couldn’t recommend it more.
