Onsea House was opened in 2006, this small but luxurious hotel was an instant success and was later extended in 2011 to include the newly built 9 room Machweo House. Offering a small boutique hotel atmosphere with excellent standards of accommodation, and staff to match, this is an excellent choice to rest and relax before or after international flights. The rooms are large, well decorated and furnished with every comfort that you will need and the views from your balcony or the main restaurant are superb, and sunsets are magical with Mount Meru in the background. There is also a lovely swimming pool area with sauna and jacuzzi.

Onsea/Machweo has earnt the reputation of offering some of the, if not the, best food in Arusha, owner/chef, Axel, is infectiously passionate about food and you can certainly tell when dining there, the food is amazing! This boutique hotel makes for a perfect pre, and or, post safari stop and comes highly recommended by the team here.
